‘I am excited to come to India … Trump who wants for America, the same for India …’
Tulsi Gabbard, Director, National Intelligence Department of America, is currently in India. She has reached India to participate in Raisina dialogue. But earlier in an interview, he openly discussed the relations between India and America to the tariff.
Tulsi Gabbard said that what I have heard from the Government of India officials in the last few days has revealed that there is an opportunity in India. Our economic relationship is more likely to strengthen and I am happy to see that as far as tariffs are concerned, they are looking at it in a more positive way than looking at it negatively.
He said that there is no doubt that Prime Minister Modi is seeing the best interests of India’s economy and opportunities available to the people of India. Similarly, President Trump is also putting ahead of America, our economic interests and the interests of the people of the country.
He said that PM Modi and President Donald Trump are moving towards better solution. Leaders of both countries have common sense and are looking for better solutions. Negotiations between the two countries about tariffs are going on at the top level. I am excited by coming to India privately.
