On Wednesday, a special Poxo court sentenced a person to death in 2024 after failing to sexually harass a seven -year -old girl. Additional district government lawyers Virendra Singh and Pradeep Bharti said that after four months of hearing, Special Judge Deepak Kumar Yadav found 22 -year -old Jane Alam guilty of crime and sentenced him to death.

He said that the incident took place on October 18, 2024, when the girl had gone out to buy vegetables in Bilsi town, but did not return home. Apart from maximum punishment, the court also imposed a fine of Rs 1.75 lakh on the convict. The minor’s family had lodged a report of his disappearance, after which the police recovered his body from an empty house. Singh said that the CCTV clip around the crime site helped to identify the accused. Alam was arrested and sent to jail after the encounter.

Here, a special court of Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, on Tuesday, convicted a 30 -year -old man to death and three times convicted under three allegations for rape and murder of a minor girl. Along with this, his mother and sister have also been sentenced to two years in jail. This incident took place in September last year.
