The country’s leading vehicle manufacturer Tata Motors has launched its famous car Tiago NRG with new features and launched it in the market. The company has made some changes in this new model which makes it a little better than the previous model. The price of the new Tiego NRG starts from Rs 7.2 lakh and goes up to Rs 8.75 lakh (ex-showroom) for the top model.

What’s special in new Tata Tiago NRG:

Tiago NRG is introduced in a total of two variants, including XZ and XZA. The company has discontinued its base variant XT, which used to come in manual transmission with petrol engine. Now this car is available only in the top-space trim. The NRG model is more expensive by about Rs 30,000 as compared to regular Tata Tiego.

A lot of changes have been made in the exterior of the new Tata Tiego NRG. This includes the new silver front and rear skid plates on the tweeted bumper and a slightly separate 15-inch wheel cover for steel wheels. Other highlights of NRG get black plastic body cladding, black roof rails and NRG badges on tailgate compared to standard Tiago.

Interior and features …

The NRG has an all-black interior compared to the dual-tone beige and gray finish given in the standard Tiego. The cabin of this car has a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, rear camera, auto headlights and wiper and digital instrument clusters with wireless Android auto and Apple CarPlay. These features were recently added to the Tiago line-up.

Car also comes in CNG …

The company has not made any changes in its engine mechanism, it has been given a 1.2 liter petrol engine as before, which generates 86HP power. At the same time, this car has also been introduced in CNG variants. In the CNG variant, this engine generates 73hp power. This engine has been paired with manual and automatic transmission. The price of CNG variant has been fixed at Rs 8.2 lakh. The special thing is that the CNG variant also comes with automatic transmission gearbox.
