Vehicles of MLAs and former MLAs in UP will be canceled, RFID based system will be entered in the assembly – Lucknow RFID Based New Vidhansabha Pass System for MLA Ex MLA Lcla

A new system is being implemented to make the admission process more secure and effective in Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly. Till now traditional passes to be issued to MLAs and former MLAs will be abolished and they will be replaced by Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology -based passes. The Speaker of the Assembly has given instructions to cancel all the old passes with immediate effect while approved this new system.

Under this new system, only two passes will be issued to each MLA, so that unnecessary crowd in the assembly premises can be controlled. Apart from this, the passes issued in the name of former MLAs have also been banned. The purpose of this step is to tighten the security of the assembly and prevent misuse of passes.

With the implementation of the new system, the vehicles of MLAs and Legislative Council members (MLC) will be identified automatically, which will speed up the admission process. Apart from this, security personnel will also be able to confirm the reality of vehicles and unauthorized entry will be prevented.

The new RFID pass system will be implemented from the upcoming assembly session. This system will also apply to MLAs and MLC vehicles, so that chaos in the assembly premises will be prevented. This decision of the government is being considered as an important step towards security and ease, which will also increase transparency and discipline in the assembly.
