The political fight between BJP and TMC is increasing, especially on religious and cultural issues. BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari has said that any attempt will be taken by the TMC government to stop the Ram Navami processions across the state.

Accusing Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of making a particular community happy, the BJP leader said that his power is now only for some time. Leader of Opposition in West Bengal Assembly Suvendu Adhikari said in a conversation with news agency ANI, ‘We will celebrate Ram Navami like last year. This time Ramnavami Mahakumbh is matching with the year. This is a glorious year. We will celebrate this big celebration. Will tell the police not to get caught in Mamta’s trap, otherwise they will have to answer. You do not have the strength to silence the slogan of Jai Shri Ram. All will come and attend rallies.

Suvendu Adhikari said, ‘Millions of Hindus will be involved in the Shobha Yatras of Ramnavami. Stop if you can stop. Hindus will rule India and who will take care of Hindus in Bengal, he will rule Bengal. All Hindus should participate in rallies by applying vaccines on flags and foreheads. It is the duty of the state government to maintain law and order. If Mamta Banerjee remains in power, the state’s situation will become like Bangladesh. His rule is now left for a few days. Hindus will no longer accept their open appeasement and efforts to crush the Ram Navami festival towards a community.

According to the official, more than 20,000 processions will be taken out across the state on the occasion of Ram Navami on 6 April, in which 1 crore Hindus will participate. He further alleged that incidents of violence against Hindus in the state are like attacks on minorities in Bangladesh. The BJP leader claimed, ‘During the previous Durga Puja, many worship places of the Hindu community were vandalized in the state. There are jihadi elements behind such incidents and some Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders are assisting and promoting them.

Partition politics will not work in Bengal: Hakim
