The Uttar Pradesh government, taking major action against corruption, has suspended Invest UP’s CEO and senior IAS officer Abhishek Prakash. According to the information, an entrepreneur applied to Invest UP to set up solar industry. In this process, obstacles were created in front of him and a commission was sought in exchange for work. The entrepreneur complained to this at a high level, after which the matter was investigated.

After investigating the complaint, the government, taking a tough stance, suspended the CEO and senior IAS officer Abhishek Prakash of Invest. At the same time, Jain, the accused who demanded bribe from the entrepreneur, has been arrested by the police. The police also registered an FIR in this case.

Let me tell you, Abhishek Prakash is a 2006 batch IAS officer. Born in the year 1982, Abhishek Prakash is originally from Bihar. At present, he was handling the charge of Secretary, UP Government, IDC Department and CEO Invest UP. He has done engineering from IIT Roorkee between 2000 and 2004. After this, he did his MA in Public Administration and Public Policy. Not only this, Abhishek Prakash has also been DM of Lakhimpur Kheri, Lucknow, Aligarh and Hamirpur districts.
