Actually, school examinations are being conducted in Odisha, which are going to end on 27 March. The amended program aims to maintain students’ health in front of record temperatures. District collectors have been empowered to implement the necessary heatwave rules, such as providing drinking water facilities and avoiding power cuts during the day.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning of heat over normal from March to May 2025, which can adversely affect agriculture and health.
