According to the information, this incident took place near the Janata Petrol Pump of Sambhal Sadar Kotwali area. Devotees of Mandali Samaspur village of Nakhasa police station area were riding in a bus and going to see Maa Purnagiri. Late night, the bus of devotees stopped on the highway, where they reached the market to buy fruits. During this time, there was a debate between the devotees and the vendors about the price of fruits. The controversy increased so much that the fight started.

Devotees going for Purnagiri darshan say that we were going to visit, but only then the shopkeepers beat up to buy fruits and beat them up badly and beat them up. At the same time, the female devotee has also accused the domineering fruit vendors of snatching money.
