Millionaire constable of Madhya Pradesh, false information was given to get government jobs, FIR registered – Crorepati Constable MP Fraud Case Government Job LCLNT

Former Constable Saurabh Sharma of Madhya Pradesh Transport Department, who is accused of illegally depositing property worth crores, is now stuck in another case. The police has registered a case against him for giving wrong information to get a government job.

How was the case revealed?
Last year, the Lokayukta and the Income Tax Department raided Saurabh Sharma’s house, in which the property worth crores was revealed. After this, the investigation also revealed that in 2015, he gave wrong information to get a government job under compassionate appointment.

What is the matter?
According to ASP Neeranjan Sharma, this action has been taken on the complaint of the Transport Department. Saurabh Sharma and his mother Uma Sharma had given an affidavit in 2015 claiming that no one in their family is in a government job. But the investigation found that Saurabh Sharma’s elder brother is an employee in the Chhattisgarh government. On this basis, the police have registered a case against Saurabh Sharma and his mother for giving wrong information in the affidavit against Saurabh Sharma and his mother at Sirol police station in Gwalior.

How long was Saurabh Sharma in a job?
Saurabh Sharma was working as a constable in the Transport Department from 2015 to 2023. He took VRS.

Property worth crores revealed
The Lokayukta police raided various locations of Saurabh Sharma in December 2023 and seized assets worth Rs 8 crore, including Rs 2.87 crore cash and precious metals. The Income Tax Department had recovered Rs 10 crore cash and 50 kg of gold from a car on the outskirts of Bhopal, which was connected to Saurabh Sharma. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) also raided his locations. At present, the police is investigating the case further.
