Noida: A chain pulled from the throat of a man eating momos, ran on a bike and absconded, the incident imprisoned in CCTV – Noida Chain Snatching Incident Sector 12 CCTV Video VIDES

The incident of chain snatching has come to light in the sector of Noida. Here the gold chain of a person eating street food was pounced and escaped. This entire incident was recorded in the CCTV camera installed there. After the incident, the victim tried to catch the snatchers, but he escaped from the bike at a high speed. On receiving the information of the case, the police reached the spot and started investigation.

According to the information, the incident took place at around 10:30 pm on 19 March 2025. Some people were eating momos at a shop on the roadside near Standard Sweets located in Q Block Market of Noida Sector 12. Then two bike riders reached there. One of these miscreants rapidly extended his hand and swung a gold chain from the victim’s neck. After carrying out the incident, both the crooks fled on a bike and escaped.

As soon as the chain was snatched, the victim immediately tried to catch the snatchers, but they did not get caught. After this, the victim immediately informed the police. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, the police team immediately reached the spot and took stock. The police have started scanning CCTV footage installed on the spot.

Police Sector 24 Police said that a team has been formed to catch the accused and the suspects are being monitored. Police believe that this may be the job of a professional snatching gang, which is active in markets and congested areas. At present, the police is looking for miscreants.
