Nitish to the minority community in the election year, Muslim religious organizations will stay away from CM’s iftar party – Nitish Kumar Muslim Organizations Boycott CM IFTAR PARTAR BIHAR BIHAR BIHAR JDU NTC

Bihar has an election year and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has suffered a major setback from the minority community. Muslim religious organizations have boycotted Nitish’s iftar party. It is being said that Muslim organizations are angry due to JDU’s Waqf Amendment Bill and Nitish’s iftar party has made a distance from the party for the first time. This Iftar party is going to be held in Patna on Sunday.

Bihar has a NDA government under the leadership of JDU. BJP, LJP (R) and Hindustan Awam Front are also part in this government. The Modi government at the Center is preparing to bring the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2024 bills. In February 2025, the Modi cabinet approved the 14 amendments proposed by the Joint Committee of Parliament (JPC). These amendments are related to registration of Waqf properties, dispute settlement procedures and composition of Waqf boards. Opposition parties have objected to some provisions of the bill. All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB) and AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi have also opposed the bill.

What decision did Muslim organizations take?

Prominent Muslim organization Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind and Building A Sharia have taken a big decision on the Waqf (Amendment) Bill in view of the attitude of NDA ally Nitish Kumar, N Chandrababu Naidu and Chirag Paswan and decided to boycott Iftar, Eid Milan and other programs. Building outfits of Iftar party are the building Sharia, Jamaat Islami, Jamaat Ahle Hadith, Khankah Mojibia, Muslim Personal Law Board, Jamiat Ulema -e -Hind and Khankah Rahmani. Other Muslim organizations have also been appealed to keep distance.

Why did Baycott decide?

The building Sharia General Secretary Mufti Saidurrahman said in a conversation with Aaj Tak, our religious organizations will not be included in the Iftar party given by Nitish Kumar. JDU has decided to support the Waqf Amendment Bill brought by the central government, from that perspective we have booked the Chief Minister’s iftar party.

Jamiat chief Maulana Arshad Madani alleged in a statement that these leaders are supporting the ‘anti -Constitution steps’ of the government.

What did RJD say?

Here, RJD has welcomed Nitish Kumar’s iftar party to boycott. RJD spokesperson Ejaz Ahmed on Iftar party’s boys, the decision of Muslim religious organizations is correct. He said, JDU is adopting double standards with Muslims. Support the Waqf Bill on one side and Iftar feast on the other side… both will not run. JDU, TDP and LJP (R) are all standing with the BJP’s agenda.

RJD targeted the BJP and said- If we organize Iftar, we target. If the Iftar party is organized by Nitish Kumar, then they take silence. RJD said- We even apply vaccines and wear hats. Our leaders also visit Tejashwi Yadav temple and also join Iftar.

What did JDU answer?

At the same time, JDU spokesman Naval Sharma said, Nitish Kumar’s commitment to protect secularism is well known. In the last 20 years, Nitish Kumar has made the example of honorarium, respect for the integrity in Bihar, the bread-employment, its example is difficult. And Nitish Kumar has been giving iftar party for the last several years. This is not new. But with which mouth the RJD is speaking to the RJD who occupies the graveyard lands in their era, hunger teachers, who are hungry, to protect the accused of Bhagalpur riot.

BJP surrounds RJD

BJP spokesperson Prabhakar Mishra said, Baycott’s decision is condemnable. This decision has been taken for supporting the Waqf Amendment Bill. It is being promoted by RJD. Actually, the Amendment Bill has gone to save crores of properties of Waqf Board. Complaints of illegal possession and misuse of this property were coming for a long time. This bill is to save him. Therefore, Muslims do not need to be worried. There is an appeal to the people of Muslim religious organizations to stay away from the actions of RJD who consider MY as their legacy. They only mean by your vote bank. Whereas CM Nitish Kumar is moving forward with the development and mutual harmony of all the NDA.
