Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla has been honored at Business Today India’s Best CEO Awards ceremony. He has received the Business Icon of the Year Award. In this program, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has also been awarded the Impact Icon of the Year Award.

Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla has opened the doors of new possibilities in the metal sector. He unveiled the new form of Hindalco and announced an investment of 45000 thousand crores to expand his aluminum and copper business. 57 -year -old Birla is constantly moving forward.

The result of Kumar Mangalam Birla’s visionary thinking and leadership is that he has been awarded the Business Icon of the Year at Business Today India’s Best CEO Awards.

In Business Today’s special program BT Mindrush 2025, Kumar Mangalam Birla shared five important learns from his experiences on ‘Building of India’s next global group’.

First- Use of conscience on ego- Global expansion is necessary, but not at the cost of ego. Secondly, along with making integration and honor-coordination, mutual respect is equally important. Third- Globalization is not a unilateral way- this is the process of learning and teaching. Fourth- Importance of Corporate Leadership- A strong center is necessary to adopt the best practices in the group. Fifth- more integration than expansion is necessary- not only enough to set foot in new places, correct synergy is also necessary.
