Jordan was battling cancer for a long time. Eddie Jordan has been one of the most prominent names in the world of Formula One Racing.

Born on 30 March 1948 in Dublin, Ireland, Jordan was synonymous with Motorsport. He began his motor split career as a driver in the junior series. After that he came into the driver management and eventually became the owner of a team. In the early 1970s and 1980s, Jordan succeeded in the Irish Cart Championship and raced in categories like Ford, Ford, Formula 3 and Formula 2.
