The body of a 20 -year -old girl was found hanging from a tree in Ballia, Uttar Pradesh on Sunday morning. The police received information about the incident through Dial 112, after which the police reached the spot.
According to the report of the news agency, SP Omvir Singh said that the deceased has been identified as Pooja Chauhan. The body was hanging from the tree with a rope, while his hands were tied backwards and his feet were about six feet above the ground. It is feared that it may be a case of murder, not suicide.
According to the police, Pooja was alone in her house as her parents went to PGI Hospital in Lucknow for treatment two days ago. His brother works in Gujarat and his married sister lives in Assam. Other houses around the house are also located at a distance of 40-50 meters, due to which no one saw the incident happening.
Four teams formed for investigation
The SP said that in view of the seriousness of the case, four teams have been formed to investigate. These include local police, surveillance team, Circle Officer of Rasra and teams of Additional Superintendent of Police.
Waiting for post mortem report
The body has been sent for post -mortem, which will reveal the exact cause of death. The police is investigating from every aspect of the case and the mystery of this mysterious death is expected to be solved soon.
