The third week of the second phase of the current budget session of Parliament is starting from today. The previous week of Parliament also ended amidst the uproar. There is a possibility of uproar in Parliament even today because the central government has a waqf bill bet, which almost all opposition parties are opposing. At the same time, South leaders are mobilized on the delimitation dispute and MK Stalin has also held a meeting with Chief Ministers and other leaders associated with opposition parties. Along with this, Manikam Tagore of Congress in the Lok Sabha has introduced a stay motion for discussion regarding ‘large quantity of cash at the residence of the Delhi High Court after the fire’.

Waqf bill to be introduced

Today, the Waqf bill can be introduced by the Center, due to which there is a possibility of conflict between the government and the opposition. On the other hand, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board has announced a nationwide protest against the Waqf Bill.

Most of the opposition parties are opposing the Waqf Bill. At the same time, the cabinet has approved some changes in the Waqf (Amendment) Bill. This bill is to be introduced after discussion in the Lok Sabha.

Congress counted flaws in Waqf Bill

The Congress on Sunday called the proposed Waqf (Amendment) Bill an attack on the Constitution by the Central Government and counted many flaws in it. In a statement, Congress MP and communication in -charge Jairam Ramesh said, “The BJP is trying to harm the ‘centuries old bonds’ of social harmony for electoral benefits through this bill and keep the society in a state of polarization.”

Jairam Ramesh also said in his statement, “The 428 -page Waqf Report was ‘passed’ through the Joint Committee of Parliament without any duly discussed ‘Bulldozer’.”

The Congress said that this bill is an attempt to discredit minority communities and weaken the constitutional provisions that guarantee equal rights and safety to all citizens, irrespective of their religion.

Delimitation dispute in discussion

South leaders have tightened up on the delimitation dispute. Recently, a meeting was called in Chennai led by DMK, in which the Joint Action Committee has passed a 7 -point resolution on the issue of delimitation. The committee expressed concern that there is a lack of transparency and clarity in the adjacent delimitation process and the shareholders who were involved in it were not discussed.
