The Lucknow Police has revealed the double murder in Kakori. The killer soldier Mahendra and his wife Ankita have been arrested. Mahendra’s companions in the case are still absconding. This heinous murder was carried out due to illicit relations. Actually, Mahendra’s wife had illicit relations with the deceased Manoj. Both used to study together. Even after marriage, their relationship continued. When the soldier Mahendra felt its inkling, he became enraged. He plotted a dreadful conspiracy to remove his wife’s lover Manoj from the road. His friend Rohit, who came with Manoj on the day of the incident, did not leave. Mahendra cut both of them with a chap and killed them.

At present, the Lucknow police have arrested the accused constable Mahendra Kumar and his wife Ankita in the murder case of two friends Manoj and Rohit in Kakori. The police have recovered the sharp weapons and mobile phones used in the incident from the accused. Three companions of the accused soldier in the case are also involved. Police is searching for them.

Lucknow’s DCP West Vishwajit Srivastava and ADCP Dhananjay Singh gave a press conference that the soldier Mahendra had killed his wife Deepika alias Ankita and his colleagues with Manoj and Rohit. The constable Mahendra is a 2018 batch soldier and was posted in Lakhimpur. Mahendra married Ankita in 2021. But after marriage, he came to know that his wife has a love affair with Manoj. As soon as this information was found, Mahendra started plotting to remove Manoj from the road.

Soldier Mahendra gave a SIM and a mobile to the wife on two fake IDs under this conspiracy. One was sent to Manoj by SIM wife and the other was given to the wife for use. The wife used to talk to Manoj with the same sim. But despite Mahendra’s refusal, Ankita also called Manoj from the old number in negligence. Just came in Manoj’s call detail, this number became the reason for the revelations. This was the same number from which Ankita-Manoj used to talk daily till some time ago, but suddenly there was a little talk on this number. During the investigation of the case, the police investigated Manoj and Ankita’s call details and found evidence of the conversation between them, which revealed the murder.

On the night of the murder, Ankita called Manoj to the spot to meet and informed her husband Mahendra. After this, Mahendra reached the spot with three companions. On the way, Mahendra had bought and kept the laughs/chap. He reached the spot and strangled Manoj and Rohit to death. After this he returned, and joined duty.

Mahendra called wife Ankita to call lover Manoj and call him to meet at Barkatabad culvert in Kakori. On calling about 35 times, Manoj agreed to meet. Mahendra was already sitting here. After carrying out the incident, Ankita and three other people went to their house. At the same time, Mahendra Lakhimpur Kheri left for the police line.
