US President Donald Trump has criticized media outlets that are reportedly spreading false claims that Russian President Vladimir Putin made American Special Envoy Steve Witchoff waiting for more than nine hours. Trump insisted that there was no such delay.

Posting on Truth Social on Saturday (March 15), Donald Trump said, “As usual, fake news is coming again! They can’t even be honest for once? Last night I read that Russian President Vladimir Putin read my highly respected ambassador and special messenger Steve Vitakoff for more than nine hours, while there was no wait for more than nine hours, while there was no wait.”

He further said that other meetings with other representatives of Russia were also held and obviously it took some time, but they were very productive. They have created this story only because people can be degraded, because they are sick and impure people who have to start reporting the news correctly. Criticism of media has been done before

A day earlier, on Friday (March 14), Trump, while targeting the major news network during a speech in the Department of Justice, suggested that his reporting should be considered illegal and should be investigated.

He claimed, “I believe that CNN and MS-DNC, who really write 97.6% bad about me, are political branches of the Democrat party and in my opinion, they are really corrupt and they are illegal, what they do is illegal.”
