In response, PM Modi said that I am representing the country which is the land of Lord Buddha. I am representing the country which is the land of Mahatma Gandhi. These are the great men whose teachings, whose speech is completely dedicated to peace. And that’s why, cultural and historically our background is so strong that whenever we talk about peace, the world listens to us. Because India is the land of Gautam Buddha and Mahatma Gandhi. And we are not in favor of struggle.

He said that we support harmony. Neither we want to struggle against nature nor do we want to struggle between nations. We are the people who want coordination. If we can play a role in it, then we have tried to pay continuous. I have close ties with Russia and I have close ties with Ukraine. I can sit with President Putin and say that this is not the time of war and I also tell the President Jailonski in a friendly manner that no matter how much the world stands with you, there will never be a solution in the battlefield. The solution will come out only when both Ukraine and Russia come to the conversation table.
