Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Arvind Kejriwal raised the issue of a major political debate and said that Bhagat Singh and Baba Saheb Ambedkar are his ideals. He said that in the governments of Delhi and Punjab, pictures of these great leaders are engaged in every office, but after the new government came, their pictures were first removed. He described the BJP as “worse than the British”.

Kejriwal accused the BJP that ever since he (BJP) has taken power, he is not behaving respectfully with the legacy of Bhagat Singh and Ambedkar. He said, “We were hoping that the BJP would announce Rs 2,500 for women, but instead he gave priority to put pictures of his leaders.”

Kejriwal accused Congress

Kejriwal also raised his voice against the Congress and said that when you put pictures of these great leaders, the Congress objected to Gandhiji’s not putting a picture, but when the BJP removed their pictures, the Congress kept silence. Kejriwal alleged that there is collusion between BJP and Congress.

When Bhagat Singh used to write a letter from jail…!

Kejriwal has the responsibility of governments to realize the dreams of freedom fighters, but today no expectations are being fulfilled. He said, “Bhagat Singh wrote many letters from him from jail which were against the British Raj, yet the British government allowed him to reach his colleagues.”

Arvind Kejriwal said, “When I was in jail, I wrote a letter to LG that I am in jail, so Atishi should be allowed to hoist the flag. There was nothing wrong in this. I gave a letter to the jail superintendent, but that letter did not reach LG. Bhagat Singh had the freedom to write any letter, but I can not write a letter of two lines.
