ACLU sought accountability of administration

The US Civil Rights Organization ACLU has expressed concern over the violation of the court order. The organization’s chief advocate Lee Galerrant said on Sunday, “We have asked the government to ensure whether the court order has been followed or not, and is also doing its independent investigation in this regard.” However, a spokesperson of the Department of Justice refused to make a clear statement on the matter and reiterated only the statement given by Attorney General Palm Bondi, in which he criticized the court’s decision.

Venezuela government’s strong response

The Government of Venezuela condemned this law implemented by the Trump administration and compared it to “Dassive and Nazi torture camps”. The government accused the US that it is treating migrants inhumanly and is calling people criminals without proper investigation.

The Trump administration claimed that the exiled migrants were members of the “Train de Aragua” gang, but no concrete evidence was presented. The administration only informed that two top MS-13 gang members have also been sent to El Salvador.
