Delhi’s Water Minister Pravesh Verma said in a conversation with today that the government will take all possible steps to clean Yamuna. So that Yamuna can be cleaned. Verma told that the car wash restrictions will be troubled by Delhiites. To overcome it, the government will open a car-wash center equipped with sewage treatment plant (STP) at some places in Delhi on the lines of Germany, where you will be able to wash your cars by paying a fee of 100 to 150 rupees, this will also make the government revenue and the dirty water of these car wash centers will be cleared on the spot. STP plant will be set up there.
What is loss to Yamuna
In fact, the Delhi government believes that the detergents and soaps used during the car-wash reach the Yamuna River through phosphates, surfactants and other harmful chemicals. These chemicals increase utirophies in the river, the Yamuna river suffers a lot of damage and often white foam is seen in the Yamuna.

Apart from this, CCTV cameras will be installed and special teams will be deployed, so that illegal car washing can be monitored. Strict action will be taken against those who break the rules. Pravesh Verma said that the government will also make documentary films, which will make people aware by showing the historical heritage of Yamuna and its clean past.
