The general elections in Canada were not going to be held before October 20, but PM Carney is saying his popularity that Carney is trying to take advantage of his popularity. He is the leader of the Liberal Party and has taken over the post of PM a month ago. He was sworn in as PM after the resignation of Justin Trudeau.
