What is the matter?

Let us know that the Karnataka Cabinet on Friday approved the amendment of the Karnataka Transparency in Public Procurements (KTPP) Act. Under this, 4 percent contracts of up to Rs 2 crore (civil) works and Goods/Services contracts up to Rs 1 crore were reserved for Muslims. On this, BJP is now angry.

Recently, BJP MP Tejashwi Surya had said in a press conference at the party headquarters that the BJP strongly opposed this unconstitutional step and demands the Chief Minister Siddaramaiah government to withdraw it immediately. He alleged that this decision taken under the leadership of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has been taken for Muslim appeasement at the behest of the top leadership of the Congress, especially Rahul Gandhi.
