61% people ready to bribe to get work done
The results were disturbing. 61 percent of the people are willing to give bribe to get the work done, 52 per cent of the people are right in cash transactions to avoid tax, 69 per cent believe that the final decision in house cases should be of men and about half the population of the country is against inter-religious or inter-caste marriage. Survey statistics show that along with economic improvement in the country, there has been no increase in civil ethics, equality and social responsibility.
The survey has been ranked at 4 scale in survey to create a sense of healthy competition in states for the sake of desired social behavior …
– Civil courtesy (assessment of participation in community activities and following public rules)
– Public safety (measuring perceptions of trust in law and private security)
– Men and men tendencies (evaluation of the role and equality of women)
– Diversity and discrimination (check-up of prejudices related to caste, religion and regionalism)
Increase in the sense of improvement and solid intentions
The results found on these four parameters provide us with a mirror for the transition of a society with geographical diversity, where traditional values co-existence with the impulses of modernization. Regional variations from progressive Kerala to tradition-prosely Uttar Pradesh show that there are many reality of civil behavior in the country, in which each has different developmental reality. The luck is that the spirit of improvement and solid intentions are increasing. For example, a day after the incident of spitting pan-masala in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, the Speaker banned gutkha and paan masala in the premises, fined Rs 1000 on the violations.

Although their joint population is equal to Punjab, India, they are among the top 25 countries in terms of per capita income, with Singapore and Denmark in the top 10. The reason for their economic success is not coincidental, but transparent arrangements reduce the cost of transactions, promote investment and assure that resources reach their desired destination.

According to the survey, 69 percent people believe that men should take a final decision in big domestic affairs. 83 percent said that it is not appropriate to beat the husband’s wife, but 14 percent of women believed it, which is an example of deep penetration of patriarchal values.
