‘Jan Sena Ab Bhajan Sena …’, Prakash Raj’s Tanj on Pawan Kalyan, said – Why do you dub Tamil films in Hindi – Prakash Raj Hits Back at Pawan Kalyan’s Statement of Dubbing Tamil Films in Hindi Ntc
Amid language dispute in the south, Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan accused Tamil Nadu of hypocrisy. He said that Tamil Nadu leaders allow Tamil films to dub in Hindi for financial benefits, but oppose the language. Speaking on the foundation day of his party, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan said that India needs many languages including Tamil for the integrity of the country.
At the same time, the DMK has retaliated by objecting to Kalyan’s statement. Apart from this, actor Prakash Raj also targeted that it is not hatred from another language but to save our mother tongue. In addition to this, he shared the old post of Pawan Kalyan in an X post and wrote, “It was a people before winning the election, this hymn became army after winning.”
Actually, Pawan Kalyan said, “People in Tamil Nadu oppose imposing Hindi. This wonders me that if they do not want Hindi, why do Tamil films dub in Hindi for financial benefits? They want money from Bollywood, but refuse to accept Hindi. What kind of argument is this?”
The Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra also underlined that it is unfair to welcome workers from Hindi speaking states like Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, but it is unfair from Tamil Nadu to reject the language. A large number of migrant workers live in Tamil Nadu from Haryana, UP, Bihar and West Bengal, according to a survey, this number is between 1520 lakhs.
He further said, “They (the leaders of Tamil Nadu) want revenue from Hindi -speaking states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Chhattisgarh, yet they say that they do not want Hindi. Is it not unfair? They welcome workers coming from Bihar, but reject the language. Why is this contradiction? Does not to change this mentality?”
What is the whole controversy?
Pawan Kalyan’s comment comes at a time when there is a sharp tinge between the BJP-led Central Government and the DMK-ruled Tamil Nadu about a part of the new education policy ‘Teen-Language Formula’. The dispute increased further when the Center stopped Rs 2,152 crore for the overall education scheme of Tamil Nadu, as the state refused to implement the new education policy. Tamil Nadu has long been watching the ‘three-language’ formula as an attempt to impose Hindi on the state, while the Center says that the purpose of this policy is to ensure that the youth get employment in all areas.
DMK reversed Pawan Kalyan
DMK leader TKS Alangovan said that two-language policy has always been followed in Tamil Nadu, Tamil and English are taught in schools, and a bill was passed before Pawan Kalyan’s birth. Alangovan said, “We have been opposing Hindi since 1938. We passed a law in the state assembly that Tamil Nadu will always follow the two-language formula, because this has happened due to the advice and suggestion of experts in the field of education, not to actors. The bill was passed in 1968, when he did not even know that he did not know the politics of Tamil Nadu.”
Reacting to Pawan Kalyan’s remarks, actor Prakash Raj said, “It is not like not to impose your Hindi on us, hate any other language. Protect your mother tongue and your mother with self-respect, please tell Pawan Kalyan.”
