With Sunita Williams, SpaceX’s dragon spacecraft is returning to three Astronauts on Wednesday at 3.27 pm. American Buch Wilmore and Nick Hague. Buch Wilmore

Barry E. Wilmore (Captain, U.S. Navy, Rit) is experienced of two space flights. He has spent time in space for 178 days. NASA astronauts Buch Wilmore and Sun. Williams launched their first crew flight on the Starlineer spacecraft of Boeing on 5 June 2024, arrived at the space station on 6 June.

Following the decision to bring back Starlineer back, both of them are currently living as part of the Expedition 71/72 crew at the space station. In March 2025, NASA’s NASA astronaut Nick Heg and Russian Cosmonott Alexander Gorbunov will return home to the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft on the NASA’s SpaceX Crew-9 mission.

Wilmore Expedition was a flight engineer for 41. In November, he took command of the station on the arrival of the Expedition 42 crew. He returned to Earth in March 2015. He spent 167 days in space. Spacewalk 4 times. In 2009, Wilmore worked as a pilot on Space Shuttle Atlantis for STS-129.

Wilmore is from Mount Juliet in Tennessee and earned a degree from Tennessee Technological University and Tennessi University. He retired as captain in the US Navy.

Nick Hague

Colonel Nick Hague was chosen as an astronaut by NASA in 2013. The native of Kansas received a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy in 1998. In 2000, Massachusetts received the degree in Science in Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering from the Institute of Technology.

Hague completed the astronaut candidate training in July 2015. During his first mission of the International Space Station in 2018, he and his Russian partner Alexi Ovachinin experienced a rocket booster malfunction. So Soyuz MS-10 had to cancel the launch. In 2019, Hague Soyuz was launched on MS-12. There were flight engineers at the space station during the Expedition 59 and 60 for 203 days.

From 2020 to 2022, Hague acted in the US Space Force. Pented as Director of Testing and Evaluation in Pentagon. In August 2022, he returned to NASA to work on the Boeing Starlineer program. The Hague for his second space station mission was launched on 28 September with Alexander Gorbunov as the commander of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-9 mission.

Alexander Gorbunov

Rososmos cosmonot Alexander Gorbunov went on his first visit to the space station as a mission specialist for Crub-9. He is from Jheleznogorsk in Russia’s Kursk region. He studied engineering from Moscow Aviation Institute. Gorbunov worked as an engineer at the Rocket Space Corp before becoming a cosmonot in 2018. He is working as a flight engineer during the Expedition 71/72 at the space station.
