Snipers targeted suicide bomber
According to Brigadier Umar Altaf, the rescue operation was difficult because many suicide bombers were standing among the people who were held by the BLA. During the operation, FC’s snipers targeted him first by identifying the suicide bomber.

Claims to kill 33 BLA fighters

Out of which 23 Pakistani army personnel, 3 Pakistani railway employees and 5 passengers were included. Apart from this, 33 fighters of BLA present on the spot have also been claimed to be killed. According to the Pak Army, after this rescue operation, a total of 354 hostages in the Jafar Express were released.

Bla claimed to take 214 hostages along
But contrary to this claim of the Pak Army, the BLA issued a statement, calling the claim of the Pak Army false. According to the BLA statement, after the train hijacking, he took a total of 214 hostages with him and later killed them all. However, the BLA has not shared any evidence with its claim.

Passengers narrated the story of hijacking
The passengers who were saved in the Jafar Express told the story of this full hijacking. According to some hostages, with whom the family was there i.e. women and children were first separated. And then they were all asked to leave from there. Since there was no road nearby, all the hostages started moving forward on the same railway track. The nearest station Paneer was about 3 kilometers away from the place where this train was standing. Walking on the hostage tracks for three kilometers, he reached the Paneer station.

There were more than 200 soldiers in Jafar Express
According to many hostages, after hijacking, the BLA first asked people about their area, place of birth and work. Those who were Baloch were put on one side. Whereas those who were associated with forces were separated. Many of them were in uniform. Some people were shot by BLA on the very first day. In fact, more than 200 Pakistani Army, ISI and police were traveling in Jafar Express that day. They were all offdeed and were going to Punjab. Some of these people initially faced BLA fighters.

Where are the dead bodies of 33 fighters of BLA?
According to the Pakistani Army spokesperson, the dead bodies of all the people killed in this train hijacking have been brought to Quetta railway station. Then all the coffins have been dispatched from there. Both the Pak Army or BLA have not shared any information about the bodies of the 33 BLA fighters.

On the other hand, the Frontier Cops i.e. FC participated in the operation of this train hijacking, a suicide attack on a convoy of FC on Sunday in Noski area of ​​Boolchistan. This attack was carried out by the Balochistan Liberation Army i.e. BLA. This attack was done when FC jawans were passing through Noski in a bus. According to reports, 5 soldiers were killed in this attack, while more than two dozen were injured. The BLA has also taken responsibility for this attack.
