But our focus is to ensure that these differences do not change in controversy. We are working in an active manner in this direction. China has praised PM Modi’s comment on India-China relations. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Mao Ning said that in recent years, the leaders of the two countries have become important consent and cooperation at various levels has increased. This has led to positive results.

China’s official newspaper Global Times has also praised PM Modi for commenting on India-China relations. The newspaper wrote in an article that PM Modi’s comment underlines the attitude of the Government of India to carry forward the relations between the two countries.
Quoting Kian Feng, director of the Research Department at the National Institute of Strategy at Singhaua University, Global Times wrote that PM’s comments would prove to be effective in staging and carrying bilateral relations.
Quoting the expert, the Global Times further wrote that the meeting was held between PM Modi and President Xi Jinping at the BRICS summit held in Kazan, Russia last year. Since then, positive progress has been made in the relationship between the two countries, both sides have implemented significant consensus, strengthening cooperation at all levels.
