Mamta Banerjee’s effort is that the electoral battle in West Bengal should be only between the Trinamool Congress and the BJP, but the Congress does not want to let it happen. The advice of Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge is stating that there is no possibility of an alliance between the Congress and the Trinamool Congress in West Bapangal – and the West Bengal elections are also preparing to contest in the same way as the Delhi election was contested. Assembly elections in West Bengal are to be held next year i.e. 2026.

Mamta Banerjee has already announced that the Trinamool Congress will compete with the BJP alone in the Bengal election battle, but the Congress leadership is no longer in favor of giving Mamta Banerjee an open ground as before.

And now it seems that India block has no meaning. Because, the assembly elections in Bihar are going to be held in the end of this year before Bengal, and the activities of Congress leaders are telling that the Congress has no intention of contesting elections under the Grand Alliance under the leadership of RJD.

The situation is due to the loss of the Congress. It is clear that Mamta Banerjee will remain in losses from the latest stand of Congress, and BJP will benefit directly.

How will Rahul Gandhi’s mission be Bengal

Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge have called a meeting with the leaders of West Bengal. And in the meeting, Congress leaders have been made clear that everything will not work as before. And, in what has been told, it is that Mamata Banerjee has not to give an open ground from the front.

After the meeting, Rahul Gandhi wrote on the social site X, there was an impressive discussion with West Bengal Congress leaders at Indira Bhavan in Delhi … Our aim was to strengthen the party at the ground level… and fight for the rights of the public … Congress will become a strong voice of the aspirations of the people of Bengal.

Apart from Rahul Gandhi and Kharge, organization general secretary KC Venugopal, Congress West Bengal in -charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir and West Bengal Congress President Shubhankar Sarkar were also present in the meeting – but the special thing was the presence of Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary and Deepadas Munshi.

If seen, the presence of Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary has clarified the strategy of the Congress in such a way that the old notion has also changed. Her strict stand towards Mamata Banerjee was being considered as the real reason behind the removal of Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary from the post of West Bengal president, but now it does not seem so.

Congress’s election strategy changed from Delhi

When it became clear that the Congress would not join hands with Mamata Banerjee in the West Bengal assembly elections, it is also clear that Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary was not removed only due to the relationship with Mamata Banerjee. This can also happen, just as Akhilesh Prasad Singh has been removed in Bihar, the same has happened with Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary.

Now it has also become clear that Rahul Gandhi’s stand which has been against Arvind Kejriwal in Delhi, is going to be the same against Mamata Banerjee in West Bengal. And, it is possible that Rahul Gandhi should take a stand like Delhi in Bihar against Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav.

Rahul Gandhi has made it clear to the Congress leaders that the aim of the Congress should not only be defeated only by the BJP, but there should be emphasis on strengthening the roots of the Congress by weakening the Trinamool Congress.

Returning back, the Congress wanted to see the BJP only losing in the 2020 Delhi elections and the West Bengal elections of 2021, but now Arvind Kejriwal’s defeat is giving happiness. And, now Rahul Gandhi wants to feel similar happiness after the election results of Bihar and West Bengal.

In the 2020 Delhi election, Rahul Gandhi had done very little publicity, and more Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen on the target than Arvind Kejriwal. After Rahul Gandhi’s rally, till voting, not his statement against Kejriwal, but the ‘youth poles will be killed’ and kept echoing more.

And, Rahul Gandhi had finally reached for the campaign in the same West Bengal elections. Earlier he was seen busy in Tamil Nadu and Kerala elections. In the West Bengal rally too, Mamata Banerjee and Narendra Modi were telling the same. However, due to the increase in the impact of Kovid, further programs were canceled.

Now it seems, Rahul Gandhi will be directly attacking Mamata Banerjee in future Bengal rallies – and there will be emphasis on defeating the Trinamool Congress like Delhi along with BJP.
