According to the information, the Amravati Express (12111) dragged a wheat -filled truck for about 500 meters at 4:30 am near Bodwad railway station. The accident occurred when the truck driver tried to cross the track by breaking the closed railway gate, but suddenly a high speed train arrived from the front.

The railway gate located near Bodwad railway station has been closed at present, because a new bridge has been built there. However, local drivers are not fully aware of this change. Due to this, a truck driver was carrying a truck laden with wheat on Friday morning, he was trying to cross the railway track.
