The Rajasthan government is in action regarding the zero tolerance policy in paper leak cases. The police and administration are constantly taking major action in paper leak cases and the state workers involved are also being dismissed. The Rajasthan government has dismissed the kingpin of Dausa and Patwari Harshvardhan from the state service in the Patwari recruitment case. Dausa Collector ordered Patwari Harshvardhan to be dismissed in this matter.

Harshvardhan was accused of irregularity in the Junior Engineer (JEN) recruitment examination 2020, after which he was arrested from the SET Nepal border. Earlier, Harshvardhan’s wife Sarita Meena was dismissed by the then Bhilwara Collector Namit Mehta. Sarita was accused of passing the exam by writing paper from dummy candidate instead of Rajasthan Police Sub Inspector Recruitment 2021.

Police and administration are constantly taking steps against people involved in this recruitment scam. Additional Director General of Police (ADG) VK Singh said that a total of 86 state workers including 45 employees associated with SI recruitment examination have been removed from service so far. Apart from this, departmental inquiry is going on against 189 other government employees.

The matter came into the limelight when complaints of duplication and irregularities came to light in Patwari recruitment and other examinations. Investigation revealed that many candidates had passed the examination in dummy candidates and illegal methods. Employees like Harshvardhan and Sarita were among the prominent operators of this racket. Taking this scam seriously, the state government has assured strict action against the culprits.

Officials say that strict steps are being taken to make the recruitment process transparent and fair. This incident has questioned the credibility of recruitment in government jobs. Investigation agencies are now trying to reach other members of this network so that such fraud can be eliminated from the root. The youth is also demanding concrete policy from the government to prevent recurrence of such incidents.
