Let us tell you that about 2.38 billion people in the world are connected with Christianity in some way or the other. This means that one-third of the world’s population is Christian. Most people are also Catholic in this. However, the graph of the biggest religion is falling rapidly. Most of the people who believe in this religion are either neutral for this, or are adopting another religion.
The World Religion Database has given religious data of about seven decades. From the year 1950 to 2015, it was found that the Muslim population increased from 13 per cent to 24. This is the first part of the religious census. The second part is shocking. According to this, 35 percent Christian population was 33 percent. Those who leave Christianity are adopting two ways.
These people are either going towards another religion, or are becoming an atheists. Europe, North America and Russia have the highest Catholic population. In this, this religious population is decreasing at the fastest in America. Pew research estimates that this gesture of religion is either empty, or people are shifting towards some other thinking.
Those who do not believe in any religion have also become a category, which is being called Religious Nons. A report by the American media institute National Public Radio claims that the Largeius Nons is the largest group in 2024, with a high population. During the research, Pew also asked people whether they are happy without religion or faith.
The answer was surprising. The comparison of the rest of the people looked less happy and satisfied. They also get more stuck than before in deciding right and wrong because they have no religious support to guide them. Even after this, distance from religion is increasing. Many institutions are doing research in their own way to leave religion or adopt another religion.
