Sunita Williams has a successful landing on Earth. Sunita Williams and Buch Wilmore arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) on 5 June 2024. His journey was only 8 days, but due to technical problems he got trapped and had to spend 9 months there. Meanwhile, Falguni Pandya, a relative of Sunita Williams of Indian origin, has shared an interesting anecdote since date. Falguni is the cousin of Sunita Williams.

Actually, this anecdote is when Sunita Williams was going to go to space. Falguni Pandya told that my son was very excited when Sunita was about to go into space. Regarding this, he used to tell friends in his school that aunt Sunita is an astronaut and she is going to go to space. Then he was in the Kinder Garden.

However, when he used to talk this, his friends used to make fun. My son told Sunita. After which she herself came to the special New Jersey and went to my son’s school and told the children that I am Astronaut. Will go to space. Sunita is very passionate about children. She always motivates them.

Space left on 5 June 2024

On 5 June 2024, Sunita Williams and Barry Buch Wilmor Boeing left for space with Starlineer Spacecraft. After 8 days, he was supposed to come back on 13 June but this vehicle implicated him at the space station 9 months.

In October 2011, NASA gave the green signal to Boeing to make a spacecraft. It took 6 years by becoming Starlineer. This vehicle was made in 2017. He continued to test till 2019. But no human was involved in these flights. These were unmanned flights.

Full story of Starlineer

The first unmanned orbit flight test took place on 20 December 2019. But due to disturbances of two software, it reached the second orbit. Docking could not be done from the space station. Two days later, New Mexico’s White Sands missile landed back to the range.

There was a problem in every flight

The second unmanned flight took place on 6 April 2020. Had to go to the space station. Had to do docking. After this, I had to come back. But the launch had to be avoided a little. Preparations were made to launch in August 2021. But then some shortcomings were found in 13 propulsion valves of spacecraft. After this, Boeing rebuilt the entire spacecraft.

In May 2022, the trial flight was prepared. On 19 May 2022, Starlineer again flew. This time two dummy astronauts were placed in it. But orbital manuving and Attitude Control System Thrsters failed. Somehow Starlineer was connected to the space station on 22 May 2022.

Sunita Williams may have this health problem

After spending so long in space, Sunita Williams’ health can have a profound effect. The biggest concern is the weakening of bones and muscles. This is because astronauts in ISS float in microgravity, which affects their body. Our body always has to work against gravity on earth, which gives our muscles and bones constant exercise. But without this resistance in space, the strength of the muscles and the density of bones start decreasing, as the body does not need to bear its weight.

Astronauts may lose 1% of their bones every month. Especially in the bones of the waist, hip and thigh. This increases the risk of bone breaking after returning to Earth. To reduce this, astronauts exercise strict in ISS.

At the same time, passengers in space can be 1-2 inches long because their spine becomes long. However, this height ends after returning to Earth.

Floating in the space, there is not much pressure on the feet of the passengers, which makes the hard layers arising from the contact of their feet soft. Due to this, the skin of their feet becomes sensitive and starts peeling, such as the skin of the newborn’s feet. To fix this process, astronauts gradually rehabilitate to strengthen their muscles and skin.

Staying in ISS for a long time also affects the heart’s heart. The gravity on the Earth draws the blood, water and lymph fluid downwards, allowing them to be evenly distributed in the body. But in microbiology, there is no gravity, causing fluids to move towards the upper part. This can cause facial swelling, nose jam and head pressure. Also, the lower body looks weak and thin. It is called “Puffy-Hed Bird-Leg Syndrome”.

The effect will remain for a long time

There is no protection from high-energy cosmic radiation in space. Astronauts face high levels of radiation from the Sun, which is equivalent to taking a chest X-ray every day on Earth. In 9 months, Sunita Williams faced radiation equal to about 270 X-rays. The immune system can weaken the immune system with exposure to this radiation for a long time. The risk of serious diseases like cancer may increase.
