The bridge was built in the middle field, but the road is nowhere … Unique Karstani of government system in Bihar! – Bridge Constructed in the Middle of Field No Road Linked Government Negligence Allegations in Sitamarhi LCla

A shocking picture has surfaced from Shivhar district of Bihar. A bridge was ready here, but there is no idea of the road connecting with it. There is anger among the local people about this. He says that this is clearly the result of collusion of government departments and contractors, where construction works are being done without any plan.

In fact, the work of the State Highway-54 (SH-54) project to be built from Belwa-Narkatia village to Dewapur in Shivhar district is incomplete. Many bridges have been constructed under this project, but the road connected to them has not been built yet. As a result, these bridges are now standing useless, because there is no way to reach there.

Looking at the picture of the bridge, it seems that in addition to the crop of arhar and Tisi in the fields of the area, now the bridge is also being cultivated. Local people are raising questions about this project and seeking answers from the government that what is the justification for building a bridge without a road?

Local villagers are very angry about this matter. He says that the administration is only making excuses, while the reality is that the loot of government money is taking place. The villagers alleged that the contractor and government officials are doing construction work without any concrete plan.

Local people say that this bridge without a road is of no use and only the purpose of earning the contractors has been behind making it.

What did the DM tell about this entire project?

Shivhar DM Vivek Ranjan Maitreya was asked that the bridge in Belwa Narkatia is built in the beach field, the villagers say that the bridge has been built without land acquisition. The bridge has been built for years, but it is not even approach. On this, the DM said that the project was pending for a few years, but on the direction of the headquarters, quick action is being taken on it.

He said that the structure whose picture has been broadcast that a bridge has been built without need is a cross drainage structure, so that drainage can be done from one part to another if there is waterlogging in excess rainfall. Cross drainage structure is provided at regular intervals. Where the bridge is built, it was government land. Therefore, construction was done first there. The land acquisition of the remaining land continues. Recently there has been a positive dialogue with the villagers. The work of the stopped project has started.
