A case of threatening a man by the accused in Jail of Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh has come to light. After this, the jailer and deputy jailer were suspended. Based on the report of DIG Rajesh Kumar Srivastava, DG Jail, while taking action, suspended the jailer Rakesh Kumar Verma and Deputy Jailor Sukhmati Devi.

An accused in Ghazipur jail made a threatening call to a person living in Bihar. This person had already filed a case against the accused. When he received a call from jail, he handed over the recording of threatening conversation to the police.

The Ghazipur police, taking immediate action in this case, registered an FIR for threatening the jail. During the investigation, it was revealed that the accused was calling from inside the jail, which raised questions on the jail administration.

Jailor and deputy jailer suspended

DIG Rajesh Kumar Srivastava investigated the entire case and submitted the report to the DG Jail. Jailor Rakesh Kumar Verma and deputy jailer Sukhmati Devi were suspended when the negligence of the jail administration in the report.
