According to the official, the police said on Sunday that a case of murder has been registered against five people after the body of a videographer missing for the last five days was recovered from the wheat field here. The mutilated body of 24-year-old Chandan Bind was found near Khaki Baba’s Mathia of Revathi police station area on Saturday evening.

Police engaged in questioning the accused
Bind Raniganj, a resident of Mangad village in Ballia district, used to work as a video photographer in Raniganj market. Police said he was missing since the night of 18 March. Circle officer Mohammad Fahim said that a case has been registered against five people – Surendra, Shri Bhagwan, Bali Yadav and Deepak Yadav of Mangadh village and Rohit Yadav of Saran district of Bihar, based on the complaint of the deceased’s father Shyam Bihari Prasad.
According to the complaint, the accused took Chandan from his house. After this, he was murdered and threw the body into the field. Police said that the body has been sent for postmortem. The case is being investigated and the accused are also being questioned.
