After the murder, the accused escaped from the spot. On receiving the information of the incident, the police reached the spot and took the body in possession and sent it for postmortem. The police have registered a case on the basis of the complaint of family members and arrested the accused.

The incident is from Siklohi village of Bisanda police station area. The deceased has been identified as 45 -year -old Abhilash Singh alias Chunabad. According to the police, there had been a long dispute between the families of the accused Devcharan Yadav and the deceased Abhilash. Two years ago, Devcharan’s father took 5 bighas of farm from Abhilash’s father, which caused his family to live. But last year, Abhilash’s family withdrew the field due to being less crop. Due to this, tension in both families had increased.

Conspiracy to murder Holika Dahan

On March 13, on the day of Holika Dahan, accused Devcharan Yadav called Abhilash to see Holika Dahan with him. There, along with other people of the village, both of them drank alcohol. At the same time, there was an argument between the two about something. While he was returning home, the deceased Abhilash abused Devcharan’s sister. On hearing this, Devcharan got angry and slapped Abhilash.

Police took quick action after getting the dead body

After this, he was brutally beaten in a pillar. When Abhilash fell down, the accused strangled him to death. The next day on March 14, Abhilash’s blood -soaked body was found at some distance from the house. The family informed the police, fearing the murder. Police reached the spot and took the body and sent it for postmortem. The police registered a case on the tahrir of the family and started the investigation.

Families created chaos, demand for strict action

The deceased Abhilash was second among the four brothers and was unmarried. After the incident, the family is in a weeping condition. He has demanded strict action against the accused from the administration. Local people say that if the police had intervened in time, then this incident could have been postponed. At the same time, the police say that soon necessary action will be taken after thorough investigation of the case.

DSP Saurabh Singh said that in view of the seriousness of the incident, the police formed three teams. During the investigation, the police arrested the accused Devcharan Yadav. During interrogation, the accused confessed his crime. He told that first beaten Abhilash and then strangled him to death. At present, the police has sent the accused to jail and further legal action is being taken.
