A three -day meeting of the All India Representative Assembly (ABPS), the top decision -making organization of the RSS, started in Bengaluru on Friday. In the meeting, RSS joint general secretary Arun Kumar said on the question of the new BJP president, ‘The process is going on. You will know when the time comes.

Arun Kumar was asked that there is a delay in choosing the new BJP president, is there any dispute between BJP and RSS? In response, he said, ‘Every organization is independent. There are 32 organizations in the union. There is no one in BJP and RSS. It has its own process to choose the president of all organizations. The process of BJP is also going on. You will know when the time comes.

‘Opposition survived by raising disbelief’

On the question of delimitation, he said, ‘The Act comes for delimitation. The first delimitation act was made 1972. After that the delimitation Act 2002 came. After that the delimitation was freezed. So the question is, is there any new act right now? They are expressing unnecessary apprehension. On the opposition to the delimitation being made by the opposition parties, Arun Kumar said, ‘They should be avoided to have distrust. Everyone should talk about taking everyone in the society.

‘Neither census nor act came’

He said, ‘Now those who are raising this issue should ask them that population calculation is done before delimitation. After that the delimitation act comes. Nothing like this has not happened, then why are they moving forward with this issue. Those who are making the issue of delimitation should introspect whether what they are doing is correct.
