After Yashwant Verma got into controversies, he was ordered to transfer Allahabad High Court and it was revealed that his name was removed from the roster of Delhi High Court.
According to the agency, Bar Association President Anil Tiwari said, “The Allahabad High Court Bar Association counsel will go on indefinite strike from Tuesday in protest against Justice Yashwant Verma’s Allahabad High Court (proposed) transfer.
What is the whole matter?
Recently, it was claimed to get a large amount of cash during a firefighting operation at the official residence of Justice Yashwant Verma in Delhi. However, according to sources, Justice Verma was out of the city during this period. Meanwhile, pictures of bundles of notes burnt from outside their house were revealed. Debris has also been found burnt. Burned notes have also been seen in it. Earlier, the Supreme Court made public the report in the cash scandal.
Yashwant Verma will be sent to Allahabad High Court!
The Supreme Court revealed the transfer of Allahabad High Court to Yashwant Verma, where he has worked earlier. The statement uploaded on the Supreme Court website said, “It was recommended to send Justice Yashwant Verma to the Allahabad High Court again in the meeting of the Supreme Court Collegium on March 20 and 24.”
Chief Justice Sanjeev Khanna convened a collegium meeting on March 20 after receiving adverse reports and a video surfaced on getting the cash, in which the firefighters were allegedly shown to be shown colliding with bundles while extinguishing the fire in a store room adjacent to the house.
After reviewing the video that went viral, the collegium unanimously decided to recommend their transfer, but the resolution was not uploaded immediately.

Allahabad is protesting in High Court
The Allahabad High Court Bar Association has demanded impeachment against the allegations of corruption against Justice Yashwant Verma. The Bar Association passed 11 proposals in its general body meeting, out of which the main demand was that the CBI and ED should be allowed to register a case against Justice Verma.
The Bar Association, demanding impeachment on the cash-at-hom dispute against Judge Yashwant Verma, said that the internal investigation of the judicial fraternity has been ‘unacceptable’. In the meeting, the association has demanded the CJI to bring impeachment along with the central government. Just as there is a trial of a civil servant, public servant or politician, thus there is a trial of his case.

This meeting of the committee was chaired by Senior Advocate Anil Tiwari, in which it was also decided that Judge Verma should not be transferred to Allahabad High Court. The committee said that the Allahabad High Court is not a “dumping ground”, and if necessary, Justice Verma can also be taken in custody with the permission of CJI.
Bar Association President Anil Tiwari said, “The Allahabad High Court is not a garbage or corruption base, where the accused in any corruption is transferred to Justice. This decision of the Supreme Court collegium reflects the intention of breaking the Allahabad High Court, but the Bar Association will not let this happen.

Association rejected internal investigation

He said in a reply to Delhi High Court Chief Justice DK Upadhyay, “When the fire broke out around midnight, my daughter and my personal secretary informed the fire service, whose call was recorded.
